What versatile little locos the 73's are!
I've seen 73118 out many times near me, making some very unusual stock moves :)
Last year one of them turned up at Manchester Piccadilly which is a little bit off the beaten track for them, surely?
 
This an occasion that impressed me! :)
An 11 carriage railtour was taken across to Barry Island.


The accompanying class 66's were over weight for the viaduct.
So 73118 pushed the train (complete with a class 489 as DVT) up the steeply graded causeway (the road to the side of the viaduct @6:15 is level) and over the viaduct to the island.
Probably well within the capabilities of the loco, but still a sight to behold! :)

some have been re-engined with around 1600hp and because they are the only sub 100t[80t]loco with a short wheel base appart from shunters so needed for trains far and wide the are used on the scottish sleeper within scotland
