Hello, I too have Dimplex heaters which are supposedly connected to a Dimplex RX010006 programmer. The programmer is also blown!
I followed along with this thread (great thread btw) And I purchased the CentaurPlus C27 programmer. I am now trying to wire it up and having a bit of trouble. I am an amateur so please bare with me
The images above is the wiring on the original Dimplex RX010006. So we have two cables coming into the back box. I assume the right one is the supply, coming from the fuse box. The left one is the load, which leads onto the heaters?
The image above is the power switches by each of the heaters. It's a dual switch with a fuse in the middle. Again, I assume that the right switch is the power switch and the left switch is for the timing. Crazy scramble of wiring behind, don't even know where to begin. If there's any questions I will try and make it clear
For reference, I have a total of 4 heaters, one in each room. Ideally would like to utilise the two zones so that 2 heaters come on for zone 1, and 1 heater comes on for zone 2. Fourth heater I'm happy to manually operate.
Now... I have simply removed the Dimplex RX010006 programmer and mimicked the wiring straight onto the CentaurPlus C27. The two brown wires, which I assume is for the timer programmer speaking to the heaters, I put into 2 and 4 (CH off and on). Is this correct? Again I'm sorry if it's not clear, I will try and clear it up as best I can if there's any questions.
Bottom line, the heaters still don't work on the timers, it just stays on. Mission unsuccessful so far.
Any help would be appreciated.
