Hi All,

Can anyone please help,

I have a mira advance atl thermostatic shower which won't turn on, no lights at all and no water supply.

I've read some forums about replacing the solenoid coil, I can't seem to identify if this shower has one?

Is any one is able to help how I can restore my shower much help appreciated it.

Have a good day all.

Have you had any work carried out recently? Eg, new electric meter? Are you able to confirm voltage and correct voltage?

No work carried out just randomly stopped working, do you mean taking a manual reading using a volt meter reader?

Yes, check with a multimeter or 2 pole voltage tester. I would also check the consumer unit see if the mcb has operated. If you use a pull cord, does this light up/give an indication that it’s on?

Firstly thanks for your help Chris.

The pull cord does light on and the mcb switch is on, it doesn't trip.

Would you know the point to check on the images uploaded ?

Thanks

If you meant to test for voltage then yes I do.
Test between L (Brown) and N (Blue) and you should have at least 220vac
Test between L and E (green/yellow) and you should have similar to above
Test between N and E allowed up to 15vac

Hi Guys Hope everyone is well.

Thanks for the input and sorry for late reply, I finally got a hold of a multimeter.

If i've done this correctly all power to shower was switched off mcb and pullcord. Water turned off aswell.

Held 2 poles as mentioned by Chris, touching over the two screws.

RESULTS

0 on all three reading

Thanks

Humm thanks for identifying that. I guess that means a complete board replacement.

That resistor should be replaceable if your handy with a soldering iron.

And for the tests with the multimeter you need the power to the shower on, if not your not measuring anything
