Signs of the Rwanda threat working?

C4 came up with some Rwanda refugee costs. Works out at £160,000 for 5 years accommodation and food.
Imagine if that money was put into the countries where the 'boat people' were coming from...

Helping them out instead of bombing them?

In most cases that's been tried many times...

There must be lots of places people can easily cross.
The border runs through village high streets in some places.
The Village of Pettigo is an example.
You can get a bus to it, get off and walk across the street and you are then in the Irish Republic.

You can name one case where aid hasn't been linked to a favourable trade 'deal', or exploitation?

Or where the money doesn't simply keep the status quo of the country?

As long as we have protestors sitting in front of buses supposed to be used for transporting these people, or gathering outside places where they're housed to stop the authorities removing them, this will get nowhere.

Solution? Give them 30 mins to protest, then if they don't disperse ...

Water cannon.
If that doesn't work, tear gas.
If that doesn't work, taser and forced removal.

you stated 3 times "plenty of evidence"

it turns out you have zero evidence
18% of UK arrivals are known to have lodged claims in other countries - source governments data.
23% of Law firms now run immigration specialist departments - source solicitors register.

Ylva Johansson, the EU home affairs commissioner, who said: “The huge majority applying for asylum are not refugees”. She echoed Frans Timmermans, a vice-president of the European Commission, who said something similar in 2016. A portion of those rejected will have made the onward journey to the UK, with those rejected in France now likely forming a significant share of these.

But none of the above beats NotchyFacts™

Good article, especially the “responsibility-sharing” among countries bit. We need to more to stop the boats at source.

Solved locally, by having tougher policies than your neighbour.

Very interesting if none of these people have any documents but can be traced so well.
