We bought the cheap Zoyi ZT-702S to trial for our service agents. Once I got to 10 bugs I gave up testing it. Single trigger mode is particularly hopeless (IMHO they just gave up the development). This was an essential feature we required to check startup current waveforms.

If you're considering a cheap battery scope you need to thoroughly test it before fault finding as the online reviews are far too brief.

Thanks, that was one of the scope meters I was looking at - would it be truly awful for occasional home use?
I'm lucky that I have access to Tektronix scopes at work (or hundreds of GWInstek!), but wouldn't want to pay those sort of prices for my very light usage at home.
