Storm in a teacup? (England kit)

The flag of St George is red not purple. I'm certain the people at Nike must have their (non-color*blind) researchers, surely?

I'm divided on this.

It's not like they've changed our flag; it's only a football top.
I'd be interested to see the reaction, if they tried it with the stars n stripes.
Rather than unite people though, having different emblems gives the opportunity to gather around their preferred one. Which is more divisive.

£125 though

Looks a nice kit. Don't see the need to alter the flag.

Better off just leaving the flag off

It’s a diabolical liberty, try changing the Nike logo and you’d be sued to within an inch of your life. But Nike can’t have had the final say surely?

To be fair the 2012 team gb Olympic kit was a mish mash of colours

Till the flag furore, I thought the white flag with a red cross was flown in the streets to indicate special needs people.

Does it not just show how diverse we are as a nation? Instead of clinging to the past, embrace the future.

Or- It’s a football top ffs.

They are doing the welsh flag too and changing the dragon for a pussy cat - so says the England flag hating but now loving Emily Thorninyourbackside

Don't care for the hypocritical condescending peer of the realm but that was funny about the welsh pussy cat
