Supply Issues and Shortages In The Construction Industry

Kingspan are back to 4 week delivery but rates continue to increase every other week. No idea what’s going on there.

Thankfully we just landed a project that’s over half next years targeted turnover so that should make things easier of it continues to get worse.

Kingspan are Irish, so their production costings are presumably in Euros, even if they manufacture here, Certainly any raw materials, such as resins, now cost more because of the tarriff barriers which came into force when we left the EU. It's been a factor in a number of business bankruptcies this year. But hey, Brexit is a resounding success.

On the manufacturing side we are being told that some items we want cannot be delivered until next March+.
I'm part building stuff and putting it to one side while we wait for bits to come in, the factory floor is covered in part done jobs or those we cannot start due to a crucial part not being delivered.
