The loony right.

It appears that the use of the expression "far right" in the media has been tracked over time. It doesn't reflect at all the existence of any actual far right groups or activity in the objective world. Rather, its use seems to dramatically increase when the Tories are in power and then disappears again once they are replaced by a Labour government. In other words, it is just something lefties say when their preferred faction of the Uniparty are not in power. It doesn't really mean anything else.

This rings true with any normal person's perception of reality. We know that there is no serious threat from any "far right" and that the mainstream political landscape is left wing, including the Tory party. It is also, of course, being used as a compensatory term to offset the more justifiable criticism and concern about Islamic extremism, which the left - and particularly the Labour party - clearly has close ties to. We've seen their recent fall out in Rochdale where Sir Kneel wasn't willing to defend the blatant anti semitism of his party bedfellows.

And so it is that the existence of this thread starts to make more sense. One of the usual characters, watching too much TV news and reading silly newspapers, imbibed "The Message" on the suppsoed existence of a loony or extreme Right. Instead of using his brain and thinking about it, and whether it is reasonable and based on any discernable reality, he rushed here to create a thread.

It doesn't make sense. That's why when somebody who does bother to think asks simple questions and attempts to untangle the inconsistencies in the narrative - he is met with a deafening silence or short responses that don't make any sense.

Here is a short video about the fluctuating use of the expression "far right".

Evidence shows this govt is hard right populism.

Nothing legendary about it, just a basic fact
It's election season. DIYnot's Tory horn-smokers are trying desperately to justify why their lying scumbag populist right wing party is doing so badly.

All I see is FAIL.

Nobody has mentioned the “far right” in this thread apart from you.

It’s a NotchyFact™ for sure.
Evidence and data show this govt are hard right populists

Examples;

1) Trying to take U.K. out of ECHR
2) ramping up hatred of foreigners
3) removing power of judiciary
4) removing freedom to protest
5) increase in wealth inequality
6) creating tax free zones for the wealthy: freeports and charter cities
7) control of the media
8) dislike of experts
9) use of culture wars
10) policy dictated by vested interests
11) attempts to cut benefits from poor
12) plans to make homelessness illegal
13) right wing libertarian lobby groups infesting govt and media
14) endless cuts to public services

Yup that’s hard right populism……the thick and the rich fully support it, as this thread indicates

- zero border control. Left.
- soft touch on crime. Left.
- high taxes. Left.
- high inflation. Left.
- environmental extremism. Left.

- mindless screaming wokery. Left.
- promotes narratives that are hateful of this country and its natives, especially white people. Left.

If only that was true.
Turn it in notchy your making yourself a bigger clown than you already are.
They're taxing us higher than they've ever done.
They follow the follow the green agenda.
They hide behind the front of Rwanda to mask they thrive on mass immigration and are all front on leaving that court you talk of.
Tough on crime.
Two tier policing for marches and it's not for Tommy Robinson.
Etc etc as has been mentioned.

I think I've asked this before but didn't get an answer, but what do you imagine to be "right wing" about the current government?

- zero border control. Left.
- soft touch on crime. Left.

Uniparty Blue is Left wing. Uniparty Red will do all the same things. There is no "right wing" option in existence that can win any seats. By the way, Uniparty Light Blue (Reform) isn't right wing.

You all seem to be screaming at this long dead corpse that is little more than a load of dust and some scattered bones. Been watching the TV again?
Berty the troll just makes this stuff up.

If you don't understand these very simple matters you have no place in the conversation - never mind posting so aggressively and starting so many threads about it.

The poor and middle earners have always been the victims of Tory policy.
