The video evidence suggests that Derek Chauvin was resting his knee on his shoulder and not his neck.
While face down and handcuffed.
Why was he kneeling on him at all?
If, as you say, George was suffering while he was stood up, he's hardly likely to stand up and leg it while he's handcuffed.
If you see the video he is claiming that he couldn't breath when he was standing up.
People, even former criminals, don't tend to break into a run when they're struggling to breathe.

George may have been a criminal, but there's no shoot on sight (or kill by any means possible), these days even in USA, not even for former criminals.

Your claiming George was a former criminal?

So do we kill all non-decent humans on sight?
Why bother with a justice system, just lynch 'em.

I suggest you change your username to Jim Crow.

Read above conversations with Notch . Or your going on ignore too.

It's Christmas time, there's no need to be afraid.

Its said that it was the drugs and alcohol that caused his lack of breathing that killed George. If you see the video he is claiming that he couldn't breath when he was standing up.

I know very little about Derek Chauvin. From what I read he was a tough cop who knew and didn't like George. But again from the video posted above it is said that the police where trained to restrain big heavy criminals in the way that he did.

Yes, I noticed that.
He was clearly distressed and you can see that he wasn't making much sense at some points.
Personally I think they could've simply left him sitting against the wall and run their checks.
I see at least 3 cops in the video, so 2 could've stayed next to him and one run checks.
That's assuming that they were trying to run checks on him.
If they were arresting him, then that would kind of justify why they were trying to get him into the car.
In any case, surely heavy handed to our standards.
Said that, considering that the list of killed coppers is quite long in USA, I also understand why they don't take any chances.
What I don't understand is why floyd was not complying.
If he'd sat in the car quietly, he would most likely be still alive.
Drugs? Alcohol?

I do agree. But they needed to get him in and charge him. That takes time. Cops have homes to go to as well.

I think this is why our coppers are so good. American cops are the benchmark. The most watched cops in the world. Its easy to learn where they go wrong.
That being said they do have a tougher job than most.

You’re getting yourself in a tangle. Was he or was he not a bent copper? In your opinion?
This has already been dealt with, it is you who is getting in a tangle

you need to respond to this:

Irrelevant comment: "bent" in the context of coppers means accepting inducements to pervert the course of justice.

He just seemed to be an abusive tnuc.

It seems like Bod has had a hissy fit and baked out of his own thread.

why is Bod so obsessed with Floyd George and BLM?
