Those massive queues at Dover that brexers claim don’t exist….are back

Google says you'll be forcibly deported if you're not already in the queue for your transport home and are normally barred from the Schengen Zone. Maybe a bit harsh but those are the rules we chose.
Pretty serious stuff.
Especially for those Brits with second homes.
I know of a couple of couples that now have to be careful about their time in EU, and rotate their presence on some occasions, i.e. one in EU, while the other is in UK.
They're fortunately retired and can afford it.

What would happen if you stayed over the 90 days ? Serious question.

You could be deported but then again, you could claim asylum and you would never be deported.
You'd need to make a case as to why you are claiming asylum.
You don't just claim asylum. You need a verifiable and justifiable reason.

I doubt much would really happen if you stayed in say Spain too long and went home.

I don’t think it’s going to enforced

But if you tried to go back to Spain I wouldn't count on it not being enforced.

Same as the amount of time left on a passport at the time of travelling

you mean basic passport rules that several countries have different criteria for throughout the world

No I mean the change that happened because of brexit
First thing when booking any trip would be to check your passport and check the country you are going to entry requirements brexit just meant you had to check a few more countries and it has been widely publicised for a few years now about the upto 6 months extra on your passport not counting for EU countries .
So yes check basic rules

The womble won’t understand that.

Exit isn't going to be an issue in most cases. But it'll be on the system as it's all computerised now, and the next time you try to enter the EU you might be turned back at the destination airport.

But it has changed, for the worse, agreed

The worse :LOL: not in most peoples eyes but guess the £3.43 it may cost you if you had the max of 6 months additional when travelling within the EU it would really upset you.
Jesus would tip the waiter more than that for the first round of drinks
