I would replace in EPDM, an easy DIY project and about £100 in materials.

Felt needs renewing. Some timber beneath may be rotten.

Acrylpol and mesh painted on will only get a few more years.

Few more years, that'll do. Do you think I could use the acrypol as a crack/gap filler as well as a sealant or would i need to cement the cracks as gap filler before using the first layer of acrypol?

Have put Acrypol over cracks then the Adhesive Tape then final layer of Acrypol on top. Just need to let it dry and then take that roll of felt off and scatter the stones.
