Triple Lock Plus.

Bribing pensioners won’t save the Tories this time.

Hunt tried bribing workers with his NI cut….that didn’t work either

Cue the crying youth ...

oh but we'll have to pay for it!
I'm 27 and can't afford to buy a house!
I probably won't even get a government pension!
I'll need to work until I'm 102!
Older generations have totally mucked up my future!

Apparently the torey boy strategy is to control the narrative with eye catching pledges that will make starmy seem boring and serious. That way the country will vote for them. They forget that they don't have a leader of any substance or popular appeal. Calling Starmy sleepy is a just a lazy rip off of the us attacks on bidenn

Funny interview on R4 this morning with Mel Stride,

Mel, "We'll raise allowances for pensioners to ensure the don't pay tax on their pension",

R4, "The allowances you froze in the first place",

Mel, "Well, yes"...

I did chuckle a bit...

I've heard the youth say this stuff, granted I've exaggerated one or two points, on numerous tv progs (mainly political ones) over recent years.

So not made up, not silly.

'We're young and we have a RIGHT to EVERYTHING now!!!'
