The Jan 6 mob have had a lot of time to stew since that day, and have seen the fat orange idiot convicted of a crime and found guilty of raping a woman. He and his supporters have cost themselves and Fox news etc billions, and his moron followers are having to cough up. Now they are seething because of the never ending lies, the fat orange idiot bombards them with hourly.
Christ only knows what would happen if he lost another election. A lot of folk are secretly hoping he'll get another term, as they see it as the lesser of the two evils. They contained him (just) for four years before, they can do it again. They can pack him off to prison after that, if he's still alive.

He admitted paying the money, his mistake was calling it legal expenses and getting tax relief on it. I'm not sure how was ever going to explain it away.
Best close them all down and set all the defendants free then eh? Or is it just criminal Trump, you'd like breaking the law and getting away with it?

At one point, his legal team tried to say that it wasn't a hush money payment and that they paid for the rights to her story. They then tried to claim that Cohen paid Stormy out of the kindness of his heart (using money that he borrowed against his home) because he wanted to protect the feelings of Trump's wife.
This is the same lawyer that they simultaneous argued was a selfish so and so that only cared about himself.
His, Trump's, defence may well have been able to reach a hung jury, but it looks like Cheeto Jesus micromanaged his legal team.
Oh, and when the Wall Street Journal first reported the story about the hush money payment, Trump categorically denied having reimbursed his lawyer. It was only when rumours that he used campaign funds to reimburse the lawyer did he say that he used his own funds to repay his lawyer.
The guy is a pathological liar- worryingly, his cult followers believe everything that says, even when it contradicts his earlier statements.
It says a lot about them. Have you noticed that very few intelligent folk are fans or actually believe him? Those with half a brain cell that do profess to however, are only in it for themselves.

The only time that the mad mullers in Tehran stood up to Trump, he backed down and stopped goading them on Twitter.

Trump tried to downplay the percussion injuries as minor headaches.
He didn't follow through with his promise to strike them back. He is, to the best of knowledge the only US president to preside over an open attack by Iran on US assets outside of Iran.
Not massively removed from the North Korea fiasco. He was dumped by his little rocket man, who promptly went back to firing missiles. Again, the outcome was that he stopped insulting NK via twitter.
