I put guilty, cos I just read the news, it was like placing a bet on a horse after it crossed the winning line.

Guilty on all 34 counts - Maybe Farage will now dump him and just focus on our own problems.
 
He was convicted of lying, you can hardly complain when he tells the truth
 
It will be dragged out by appeals but if upheld it’s pretty pointless not to give him a term of imprisonment

He's going to be sentenced in July. Although, apparently the appeal court can order a stay on sentencing.

Before the trial, everyone was saying jail was very unlikely.
 
No way he'll go to jail.

Although this has zero bearing on legal aspects, everything about him is odious. What that says about his fan base goodness only knows. I would love to know what the reality of his marriage is like behind the proverbial closed doors.

Guaranteed Trump will now (try to) spin this to his advantage and who knows, it might work in his favour, nothing would surprise me.

Biden's camp will likely refer to him as 'convicted felon' as frequently as they can ... or perhaps not if they think it could be counterproductive.

Regardless of what anyone thinks, we're certainly living through historic times!

If you had actually followed it, not trumps statements, then you would have seen the paper trail.... its a big ask to get the court of appeal to overturn the trial, trump paid Cohen, Cohen paid stormy... its a fact. Why else would he pay her off and get an NDA... charity ? the court of appeal in the US cannot disregard material fact... see his other appeals... once a jury decides that evidence is a fact that is it, the defence would have to show that the evidence was false and they stupidly admitted that the cheques he signed were written by him. He is in one big hole.
