Washing machines/ dishwashers

Someone mentioned front connecting hoses - spiffing idea. In fact, American dishwashers are usually built in jobbies, and all of these have bottom plinth hoses and wiring. Unfortunately you dont see the same ingenuity in their WMs because these are rarely built in or surrounded by cupboards there.

It wouldn't take much do redesign a washing machine to have front accessible hoses and electrical would it??? Down at the base where its always just a sea of white metal / plastic.

Easy way to get a W/M out if you've got a wee bit of clearance at the top is to lift front enough to get a round bar/tube underneath. Then use this as a fulcrum to balance the M/C and roll forward.

Broom handle has a tendency to dent but is the ideal thickness. We have metal ones that are used as pinch/tommy bars on our valve keys that are ideal...

Bish and Bash, the clowns from "the place you know where to come  "..delivered a Bosch to my M8.....Bish bash bosch  and after installation the back panel fell off and the supply hose got chewed by the rotating mass in the back of the drum  kitchen floor a bit wet
