Or so they say

Evian
It contains bicarbonate, which helps control the water balance, and alkalinizes the body. It is rich in calcium, which is essential for our bones. Full of magnesium, each bottle aids in the working of muscles and the nervous system. It contains sulfate, which helps with blood clotting.
You'll get all those things from your daily diet and probably from the filtered water that comes out of your tap.
You can ask your local water authority for their annual report (they must produce it by law) in there you will find out what is in the water in your area.
What is "water balance"?

That depends on what part of the country you live in. The makers of these machines say that to cover their arses.

This is why I'm posting as I don't know. If your right I will go and bite the bullet.

Have a look at your bottle of Evian. Nowhere on the bottle will it say "drinking water".
Bottled water is not covered by the drinking water regulations, it is covered by the food act.
Because it is food and not drinking water, it doesn't undergo as much testing as the water from your tap, which is classed as drinking water.
