Malbec tonight with our Cassoulet. Had a little drop left over from breakfast…………..
 
Trying the new Aldi Czech lager. Smelt nice when opened and poured - a pleasant 5 percenter for those who like their Pilsners.

Aldi also launched a new Indian style lager called Boa, but not tried yet.

My Gran was born just outside Ludlow in Batchcott.

Very familiar with the place: the Castle is great, the pubs are traditional and the food festival is fantastic. The only downside is it can be murder to find somewhere to stay when events are on.

We stay on a farm caravan site south of Ludlow, the Hereford path passes though it
