If you need to bend some 15 or 22mm heating pipes go and buy the proper tool- £40 from Toolstation, possibly cheaper on Fleabay or Jeff's Tat Bazaar.

I've got one but I am trying to bend some pipe in a small space and the one I have is to big.
I actually also bought a Rothenberger ratchet one only to be told afterwards that it's not designed for hard copper pipe just multi layer pipe and soft refrigeration copper.
Sounds like either a redesign or annealing then.
