What's the best way to patch this rendering on my house?

Now I haven't used the K-rend yet, but isn't it smoothed down with a scraper afterwards, or do you reckon the sponge will match it in fairly well Alastair.

For the size of that patch he can sponge it up when it's nearly set to blend it in as best he can.
