Worcester 32cdi and hive

Glad to hear it worked. If instead of the link, you used the spare black wire to connect Hive 3 to the DHW LR then you could use the Hive to control it. Only if you think it worthwhile of course, most folks don't bother, but as you have a Hive with a hot water option going spare...

Unfortunately though, after all of that, I don't think you will make any water savings, so tend to agree with...
if you are using the CH at this time of year the HW pre heat wont make any difference, it just keeps the water within the boiler warm when heating isn't on
However, when you have had time to evaluate it properly, it would be interesting to hear back from you with the result.

Had time to evaluate, it has made a huge difference, despite it being time.ofnyear heating is on, it takes significantly less time to get hot water to our taps. I really think I'll make a fairly significant saving on water usage now this is done.

On our kitchen tap, Without eco it takes around 5 seconds to get hot, with eco on its more like 15. So ten seconds of fairly high pressure water flow each time we use the kitchen tap should amount to a decent difference.

Thanks all.
