The idea that Jews are descended from the Canaanites is a modern rewriting of history by Zionists in an effort to justify their occupation of the land.
Zionist nationalism like most nationalisms relies on origin myths, Hitler had the Aryan myth to justify treating others as outsiders.
According to the bible the Jews were not indigenous to the region, Abraham and his family were from the land of UR which is in Iraq.
If the Jews were direct descendents of the Canaanites, then that would mean that the Judeo/ Christian religions are based on falsehoods.
No Abraham, no Gods promise and no promised land either.

Netanyahu's real name is Mileikowsky, most of Israels former prime ministers changed their names to hide their European origin.

Bit of news. Israel seems to have introduced a no fly zone over their north a few days ago.
Some services have ended flights to Israel.
Sat phones are being dished out to some but didn't really catch who. Worries about communications.
The US have moved in an extra squadron of fighters and some more war ships.

A general view that none concerned in this area want a war but something is likely to happen.

It seems that Lebanon have forced back some Israeli fighter with anti aircraft missiles but who really knows. Also that they have more capable missiles. If so Iran and others eg in Iraq may have them.

BBC mention briefly Gaza out of the news but daily strikes continuing at the usual rate.

One of our own politicians passed on info from an aid agency. Recent flow dropped to 50% of what it was. Food wise I think this has been arranged meet critical levels as the same terms are still being used sometimes with north south split in severity. This will cause some sectors of the population that need better food problems which does seem to be what is happening.
 
Oh forgot. Isreal going to Egypt for talks. Palastinian negotiator still not available as not yet elected.

I think Iran will strike this week, some commentators are suggesting 12th because it's a significant date in the Jewish calendar, can't remember why. Potentially it could be a lot bigger than the last attempt which Israel easily repelled. Hezbollah and the Houthis will likely help, Hezbollah are sitting on a huge stockpile of rockets.

General feeling is no warning this time. It wont be a hey look at all of these launches.

Strange place. When things "settled down" and talks about who is and isn't a terrorist some one did an excellently accurate hit on a Saudi oil installation. Also much debate about if it is Iran backed at times.

The same source has an article about Republic / Democrat and Israel. It mentions that Trump might destabilise the $.

;) Eye for an eye. Maybe target Israeli politicians and military heads and not admit doing it. Just takes a bullet or a small ammount of explosives. Larger if the range needs to be greater. It's all wait and see really.
