Another Angela Rayner scandal

Wes Streeting has talked of bringing GPs and Dr surgeries fully into the NHS.
There are thoughts that this factor wasn't a good idea when the NHS was set up. It seems to have come about/crept in as doctors were paid by the patient or people had to use a charity if they couldn't afford it.

It also appears the NI was intended to cover the lot. We are way past that now. The NHS is run via the tax take.

GPS are kind of privatised anyway.
I'm reminded of the chaos when the Tory privatised a group of tom nods to see if the disabled were disabled. Some were visited. I came across a soldier recently back from Iraq and not well. He was literally scared about the oncoming visit. Also a women who just about hobbled to a bus to attend an interview. They came up with a walking distance where people should be able to work.

The man who phoned up someone at 3-15am in need of £5000 to get away from a flat and some bad people. Also paying medical fees.

Seems he didn't use campaign funds but a separate fund so not guilty. Inference is it held donations to him. Gov comment - the people who run the fund need more training. Anyway he has resigned from the Tory party but wont be stepping down. Just quitting come the next election.

And a lot of comments in here from the balanced rwr's about it

Sunak really doesn't want the embarrassment of yet another by-election defeat.

Sound like they may privatise them. GP's no good.

We haven't got enough. So those we have, unless in posh areas, have an impossible workload and suffer burnout, so go to well-funded early retirement or career change.

We have a demographic time bomb of boomer doctors around retirement and have not been training enough. As ever, we should have upped the intake ten years ago to get a wave of young doctors now.

Obviously we also have shortages of nurses and other workers too. You'll remember how the Tories cheered when they blocked a pay rise. These two facts are not unconnected.

the right wing nutters have been grizzling for 114 pages about Angela Rayner

but they have no interest in the actual real criminal activity of Mark Menzies

utter hypocrites
