Being a Jew illegal.. sometimes

While New York was preoccupied with student protests over the US’s support of Israel’s war in Gaza last week, another aspect of how the city with the largest Jewish population outside Israel is coming to terms with bloodshed in the Middle East was being prepared. On Wall Street, a gruelling exhibition has opened detailing the horrific attack on the Nova music festival by Hamas terrorists on 7 October, in which 364 people were murdered, many wounded and 44 taken hostage.

It is a walk-through recreation of hours of unimaginable brutality by the attackers, containing the tents, bedding and possessions of those at the festival, alongside jubilant Hamas videos of the attacks, as well as survivor and rescue worker testimony in the aftermath. The items include handbags, burnt-out cars, missing sneakers, bullet-riddled bathroom stalls, the stage from which DJs played their sets, and some evidence of ritualised sexual violence. It concludes with a room of photographs of the young people who were killed, and the declaration: “We will dance again.”

It would need a much bigger room for 35,000 dead Palestinians.

I think most people have better things to do with their time than hate people that they are unlikely to come into contact with in their everyday lives.
It doesn't change the fact that many still do.

Objecting to racism, apartheid and genocide is not racial hatred.

Quite the reverse.

Zionists support racism, apartheid and genocide.

Bernie Sanders told Netanyahu something like that at the weekend - not supporting his governments actions in Gaza is not anti-semitism. When Netanyahu makes such a claim he's basically saying "l'etat, c'est moi." In Hebrew. Obviously.

Back to the title It seems Jewish speakers were on the marches route this time. One arrest due to offensive language. Just mentioned with not that much detail.

The new pro Israel demo. It seems it passed close by but the police kept them separate. The threatened one probably related to the gentleman of concern was cancelled.

Haven't seen it - got link?
I watched it on the box but have mentioned it before and it seems some one found it. Maybe a shortened version but sounded much the same. Same factors mentioned. Many coming through the fence gaps HAMAS created. Civilians taking hostages. Looting by civilians. HAMAS over running an Israeli barracks. Also as described HAMAS not knowing what to do as they were so successful, In disarray words used. Israeli gunship attacks - probably killing hostages on there way back to Gaza as hostages. It also mentioned that the party was cancelled before the attack during the initial extended rocket attack. This caused a degree of traffic jam problems.

Some back up about certain factors here
In the initial wave of attacks, militants kidnapped civilians and brought them back to Gaza as captives.[4][5][64] According to statements by Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, around 200 soldiers and civilians were captured or abducted during the raid on the Gaza periphery communities.[65][66] Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, an IDF spokesperson, reported on 7 October that military officers were among those captured.[67] Israel confirmed the identity of 203 captives, among them 30 children,[68] while Gaza spokespeople reported holding roughly 200, estimating that another 50 were held by other factions.
As of 24 February 2024, Hamas is still refusing to allow International Committee of the Red Cross representatives to meet with the 7 October hostages in Gaza.[95][96][97][98] The hostages are believed to have been dispersed among different Hamas members and factions, as well as among other militant groups, gangs and families.
The IDF confirmed on 13 October that remains of missing Israeli people were located and retrieved in the Gaza Strip.[136] On 14 October, Hamas stated that nine hostages had been killed over a 24-hour period due to Israeli airstrikes.[137] On 4 November, Hamas reported that 60 hostages had died as a result of Israel's bombing of Gaza.[138] An Israeli official responded that "Regardless of what Hamas claims, any harm done to hostages is Hamas's responsibility and they will be held accountable."[139] According to the IDF, half of the hostages were killed during the abduction or died in captivity.[140][141] At least two bodies of deceased hostages have been recovered, as of 16 November.

Nothing about the effects of the gunship attacks but as vehicles and people on the way back to Gaza I'd assume Israel knows.

AFAIC, the atrocities committed by the Hamas savages on 7 October justify Israel's response.

I don't agree with that, but i assume there a limit to what revenge you think Israel is justified in taking?

They've already killed far than Hamas did, so it isn't an eye for an eye anymore. If killing 30 people for each dead isn't enough, what would be too many?
