Bod voted Tory in Harlow. How did you vote?

That's a lot of trouble to go to just to become a councillor!

Was this in person vote fraud or postal vote fraud?

Postal votes with multiple identities across dozens of addresses if I recall correctly, long time ago. I know the winners hired a limo which they bedecked with Pakistan flags to cruise around Slough.

The sad part is that Lydia Simmons (Labour) was defeated, whilst she wasn't my party of choice, she had a reputation for being passionate about Slough, a hard working and concientious councillor and the first Afro Caribbean Mayor in the UK.

Has postal vote fraud been tightened up. Could this still be done these days.

I don't know enough about the process. Is it harder now to register to vote with a fake identity.

In person voter fraud seems more difficult.

Yes. Easily done with no ID check required. I’d say it is the easiest voter fraud to commit. Just needs someone to go round and collect the blank forms from the brothers, fill 'em in and send 'em off.

I also meant inventing fake voters. Is that still as easy as it seems it used to be?

The honest answer is I don't know, obviously postal votes are easier to manipulate than 'in person' votes which begs the question, was voter ID really necessary for in person voting or was it a solution to a problem that didn't really exist, dunno.

Are there any requirements for postal voting, do you have to prove a legit reason for needing to use a postal vote apart from not living in the country. what areas of the uk have the most postal votes
