Cryptic Clues

A hint:
the outcome = (of being) in favour + (of the) tube
Words in brackets only serve to make the clue readable.

Correct.
It was a typical cryptic clue, the answer being presented at the beginning, and made up of two words from the rest of the clue, joined together.
Something like: South of London applause for the meat = Clapham.

Anyways, your go.

Yeah, been doing crosswords a few decades ;).

For me too many padding words, which could have had about 200 meanings or uses each.
I wasn't sure it was right - which is I guess how I judge the quality of the clue!
'Outcome of being', could have been dust, etc
Duct isn't obvs a tube ,.
Product isn't really an outcome..
Whereas without doubt Clapham is S London and ham is meat - see what I mean.

If you woz wondering about verdict
Vedi = you see, and a tube is a CRT,
VeRdiCT is an outcome maybe, so it sorta made sense.

Ummmm
