Cryptic Clues

Nope to both.
???? Grant (Grant is the surname)+ Girl inside (girl's shortened name) = reinforcements.

Reinforcements - here comes the ??????? rhymes with will be the next pointer.

Would that be a clue if it were in English?
sorry, the norm is no punctuation in crossword clues, I was following a pattern.
With punctuation:
Reinforcements - here comes the ???????, rhymes with '???????' will be the next pointer.

The answer rhymes with Valerie.
Here comes the ??????? which rhymes with Valerie.

???? Grant - famous film star, with a shortened girl's name in the middle, giving a colloquial name for reinforcements.

Assuming that's right;

Comms failure!
Slight knocking on the water regulator (3)
was a loose illustration of the type of clue, where the answer, obviously "tap", is a word for both parts of the clue.
"Tap" is nothing to do with this one, but the answer ( which is one word) is again connected to both parts of the clue.

I suppose lawyer with a nice sheen (4)
