Getting woken up at night

Someone else mentioned it, maybe try secondary glazing? I've never seen an installation of this to know how good it actually is, however stats online seem to indicate it can reduce noise levels quite significantly.

Night works not going to help

I played golf for the first time on Good Friday. Slept like a baby.

Same again this morning out on the course.....:)

I've known a few heavy drinkers who complained of sleeping badly.

They divulged that they had a good swig before going to bed because it knocked them out.

But what actually happens, is that after some hours, when their liver (until it goes wrong) has broken down the alcohol, it wears off and they wake up and can't sleep.

Three of them died early, and the other two are now 100% dry (one of them has been told he won't survive another bender).
