I was just thinking. In the forthcoming election, senior Tories will cruise the country to associate themselves with local candidates.

If Cleverly rolls up to Stockton, how many votes will he lose?

The RED WALL is nothing more than a ha-ha, nowadays.
Only the Tories won't be laughing next year.
 
I spent 6months there, a long time ago, putting in a big new pumping station, for Stockton and Middleborough. It was fairly dire, locally, at that time. Further afield, there are some really nice areas.
 
Wasn't it a busy industrial town, until Thatcher?
 
If only they had a decent mayor and some good MPs to represent them.
