But the kits with various styles and colours of crosses must have been approved by FIFA?

Seems many know, but daren't say for fear of being branded right wing, which they are not. The cross of St George is red, this flag seems to be a political emblem. Here is FIFA's stance on such symbols.
FIFA has announced, once again, that it considers the poppy to be a political symbol. And its rules prohibit players from wearing symbols for political, religious, commercial, or personal statements
It is definitely a statement of some sort, in which the other crosses on previous England kits appear much about nothing. This is not the St George's cross.

Has anyone actually pined down what this colourful cross represents?

I'm sorry, Bod. I'm not sure I've woken up yet!
I don't understand your reply.

Chelsea if remember rightly had diamonds on an away kit. Years back.

They were just diamonds. These crosses you talk of are just cross's. They are not the flag of St George. And neither is this latest one. So what's it all about?

I'm wondering why they didn't just put a colourful heart ❤️ ❣️ ❤️ on.

Or why not all just have colourful arm bands.

I'd like to see colourful knee pads.

I'm still not sure what colours make up that cross. Is it red and blue?

Oooh that looks well dodgy.
Didn't the knights of the cross have a rule 4, no pooftahs?

I don't think this matters much. There is very little interest in England.
Even playing Brazil .. a busy pub (I'm in) and very few are paying an interest in these multi million £ knee bending woke florets.
