How come strangers on a DIY internet forum often have the knowledge to solve complicated international matters yet politicians don’t?
Who's pretending to solve it? There is no good solution, the NI protocol is merely one of the less awful options. Are you just upset by everyone pointing out how badly Brexit is being implemented?

You mean the politicians you voted in.

It's Because they have to continue the Brexit lie.

Ah the "you lost get over it" argument.

A handy deflection to hide the total sh1tstorm that is Brexit.

There are some benefits.....for the French, the Dutch, the Germans.
Lots of opportunities to replace UK trade.
Except it’s not a total sh1tstorm.

According to the right wing media.

Oh and the Tory govt that continues its Brexit spin.

Let me see:

Huge damage to trade GB to NI
Big increase of EU to RoI
Constant stream of businesses moving from UK to the Single Market
UK SMEs losing loads of EU export trade due to trade barriers
UK has lost cabotage rights - a big loss to UK hauliers
Haulage costs gone up 50% as a result of trade barriers
Huge damage for musicians and other entertainers
Huge damage to fishing industry
Massive shortage of fruit and veg pickers
Massive shortage of lorry drivers
UK is now weak and is signing up terrible trade deals (well 2)
Significant brain drain as many EU workers have moved back to EU
Huge shortage of nurses in NHS

The only thing brexers can claim is vaccination roll out.....but EU countries are now more back to normal than UK, so that benefit was short lived.

As I keep saying, none of that has affected me personally. As I keep asking, which of that has affected you personally?

Highest growth and fastest recovery in Europe

Utter bolox.

Here's the truth:
In Q1 2021, UK GDP fell by 1.5% compared with the prior quarter (Q4 2020), largely due to the lockdown. In comparison, Eurozone GDP fell by 0.3%

Highest forecast growth by the IMF

The IMF upgraded its forecast due to vaccination rollout.

But that advantage has ended - in fact Europe has opened up faster and opened economy faster.

CEO of Tui said yesterday: we are flying planes.....in Europe, not UK.

On the flip side, maybe it will make people out their phones down whilst away and properly relax.

If travelling on business charge the costs back..

Nonono, you must be wrong.

Brexers said this was just Project Fear.

You'll be telling us next there is no £350million a week for the NHS.
