Worked in warehouses for years, and always had an appreciation for pallets...
I've got a wood burner fitted last year, so always have a stock of wood. Took upon a little hobby of creating pallet furniture and home accessories. nothing too complex, basic joinery but managing to make pretty usable things and made myself a website to get some practice for when i'm moving departments at work. Not made any money yet, not really excpecting to make lots, anything is a bonus.

Looks great!!!

I've seen some pretty nice garden furnature made out of pallets, ever tried that?

I make bird boxes, fencing, gates.
Remainder on log burner, gives good heat, but needs refuelling to often, hey ho its free.

Made the odd item from pallets, when burning in stove a single nail thru a 1/2dozen slats keeps it together and allows it to burn like one thick log.

I have a bit of a pallet fetish - free stuff always gets me going! Made a garden sofa, mud kitchen for the kids and have re-floored my shed so far. Also use a kindling for the log burner.

Any tips on de-nailing for use on projects? This is a major PITA

Just finishing a shop and fort for the kids.[about 80% pallets].The two are linked by a tunnel, [everyone like a secret passage.]
