Pallets!

If you look in screwfix roughneck do a pallet buster
which I use mainly for lifting batons.

Is this the one? My wife got me one a few weeks ago and it is brilliant!

Lifts the boards in a controlled, easy manner and certainly cuts down on the back breaking tedium of crowbar work. I had it in the back of my car when I went past a building site last week. Turned the car around and after a short conversation with the gaffer I was able to strip 4 pallets measuring 4' x 4' in just over half an hour. Pallets were close boarded 4" planks and once the first one was off this exposed the runners and made the rest very easy to remove. Ended up with 57 boards as it enabled me to remove the under runners between the blocks as well, though 3 of these were damaged beyond use.

Yes that looks like mine. Also good for lifting flags or heavy gates/doors when you need to realign them.

I made these garden chairs with pallet wood, recycled 2x4, scrap wood and the table was made with recycled 2x4 and salvaged wood from the Ice Prince ship that sunk.
