Safety of Rwanda (Asylum and Immigration) Draft Bill

They 'accept' them because they have no real way of stopping them. What, that Turkey next door to Syria? That one? Do they have to risk their lives or pay criminals to get in to any of those countries?

Talking of that, have a guess what the most popular boys name was this year in the UK.
Yep.
…….Germany ……have way more refugees/migrants than the UK. We shamefully lag way behind them for a (similar) developed nation.
"As elsewhere in Western Europe, the rapid growth of the Muslim community in Germany has led to social tensions and political controversy, partly connected to Islamic extremism, and more generally due to the perceived difficulties of multiculturalism and fears of Überfremdung."

Look up that last word. We're getting there.

I see you want to talk about Germany and Turkey and you also seem to think that "France.. have way more refugees/migrants than the UK."

It's not true. In fact they granted almost half as many migrants residency in 2022 than the UK.

320,000 France 2022
606,000 UK 2022.

UK population has grown almost twice as fast as France over the last 20 years.

migration with visas

Noseall was clearly talking about migration through non legal routes

I think it's good UK has taken less illegals than other countries. The Doctors, engineers and nurses that we need are in the legal 750000. These boat people are a net loss to us. Fewer the better.

He said Refugees/migrants = all of them.

If you want to look at those asylum seekers granted protection who claimed asylum, well we have already discussed those numbers and it still doesn't support the claim. if company A has 1 job with 1000 applicants and company B has 2 jobs with 500 applicants, who is offering more jobs?

hint its not A.

'Granted residency' is not the same as migrant/refugee total. France pizzes all over the UK in that respect. Also, France has not had to endure the catastrophuck that is Brexit, so UK (residency) numbers will be temporarily higher. Call it a blip.

The U.K. economy requires high immigration.

1) we have a ratio of working to retired that is far too low to fund our economy and pensions

2) we have too low birth rate

3) we have a massive lack of people being trained in the sectors being filled by immigrants

4) we have lots of jobs that the British won’t do

5) we have an economy that requires immigration to grow

Until those are sorted out, nothing can change

You missed out

6) we have a lot of thick f##kers here to support
