Slow drain basin – no block

I’m still leaning towards a partial blockage, a hose will flow as it’s under pressure, yet connected back up allowing water to buildup/fill in the wastepipe, if there’s a restriction, will be an issue.

I really can’t remember. Sure it was like it when we bought the house 5 years ago. Worth calling dynorod?

Use a Local firm. I’m led to believe Dynorod are expensive and charge for unnecessary work. Or since you’re able to remove the trap yourself, invest in a drain snake.

Good advice
I wonder if it could’ve a vent issue’ should there be more than just the one at top of stack and could that cause the issue? Possibly the previous owner did a bodge on the plumbing...

As long as the top of the stack in open then that wont be the issue. Before you go splashing out of someone to look at it, can you stick up some pics of the pipework, or what you can see of it. Trained eyes may pick up something that looks perfectly normal to you.

I’ll post up some pics tomorrow. Thank you all for your help. Much appreciated

wet vac, is thatto attach to the waste pipe?

The photos
Any other ideas?

Pics look ok, although outside the basin waste looks bigger than the bath waste? Anyhow I'd go with either plunging or drain snake, not much of a run by the look of it.

I'd say the basin waste is the lower one, looks smaller than the top one. I'd still check its not been shoved too far into the stack, could have a good lump of solids hanging off the end of it by now, partially blocking the discharge.

Will check that Hugh
Is this pic the type of snake that could work?
Tried the vac trick but the stench of **** made me stop.
