You clearly have an unreasonably high regard for the American justice system.


"prosecutors, judges, defense attorneys and academics cited "substantial evidence" that innocent people are coerced into guilty pleas because of the power prosecutors hold over them, including the prospect of decades-long mandatory minimum sentences"

Especially if you are black, poor and have a criminal record

He also may have been guilty and excepted the plea bargain in order not to get a long sentence ?

If we were talking about Clint Eastwood and Dirty Harry, and you then started going on about the dead actor Charles Bronson for what ever reason.

You wouldn't expect anyone to start getting confused with the violent criminal who's very much alive that's serving time in a British prison.

You may rightly think "Hang on a minute this Punk ain't listening to a word he's reading"

Or that punk was deliberately taking the thread off topic. I don't believe you thought that is what I was doing, as that's somthing you would never do, is it Roy.

you are being dishonest, your response clearly meant:

not this:

2) ”he thought he was more likely to be found guilty because he had no faith in the justice system


the context shows it to be so: your comment was a counter response to my earlier post.

If you had meant otherwise, you should’ve qualified your comment
