According to Witherspoons, in July 2021 to July 2022, just at the end of the Covid lockdowns.

And taking UK tax revenue for 202/21 compared to Witherspoons tax, it's more like 75p in £1000.
Bearing in mind that 2022 was the end of the Covid lockdowns so Witherspoons would be enjoying a healthy rebounce, the government's take in 2020/21 would have been well down due to Covid.

So it is vey much like a Mottie's carefull selected performance criteria to reflect Witherspoons in a good light.
We'll never know how much burden they placed on the NHS.
Twist and turn all you like Roy. Spoons is a massive plus for our uk economy. 43000 people employed and all the subcontracted work.

And look how much they pay in climate change levies.

Just pointing out how they carefully selected the best performance criteria to show them at their best.
They've ignored the drain on the NHS by their sales of cheap beer.

.
That'll be zilch, nada, zero, rien.

So you’re saying the 5.8 billion in the last 10 years from
Wetherspoons isn’t enough to cope with the damage they have done to the NHS ?

And 9.7 million in 2022. Tim is an all round good bloke.

At the start of the year, Tim, 68, was named among the UK's biggest taxpayers as it emerged he paid £123 million in tax last year - but few people realise his £448million net worth started with running just one pub. He often redevelops old buildings that otherwise might have been left to ruin, such as banks and post offices, and injects them with a new lease of life in the form of punters.

Fun Fact#87 - The 'JD' part of the company name 'JD Wetherspoons' was taken from a character in the US TV series The Dukes of Hazzard.

Who will be first to make Boss Hogg a climate denier

I've no idea. As I said in my earlier post there's probably no analysis on the burden caused to the NHS, police, battered wives, etc, caused by cheap beer.

If Tim invested better in the energy efficiency of his pubs, he could avoid or reduce the CCL.
So not Zilch then ? Almost 82 million.

I couldn’t comment on the energy efficiency, but I know he pays his way.
