Triple Lock Plus.

Can we have that without London and other stupidly expensive areas please.

Then the figure would be much lower.

“Average” means uk average Notch
It is in the article I quoted

Let me help you by quoting the relevant bit:

“Things get more affordable as you move further north. The Midlands cluster around 7.5-times average earnings, while the North West and Yorkshire, alongside Wales, are on around 6.5-times.

In Scotland, the average house costs around 5.5-times average earnings, the lowest of the major British regions”

So still considerably less affordable now

Also backed up by lowering home ownership rates:

“There had been a “substantial fall” in home ownership among young adults since 1997. The IFS said 35% of 25- to 34-year-olds in 2017 were homeowners, a decrease from 55% in 1997”

NWGS, why do you lack the ability to research facts and evidence?

Without them being introduced, they wouldn’t have been raised

You can follow that ?
Dumbest non sequitur I’ve ever heard

Well done :ROFLMAO:

By the way, have you found any evidence of “Jew hatred yet”?

It does prove my point

“but London and the south of England stand out”

Thanks for that

what use is an "asset" ("investment") if you're dead?

You pass it on to family etc.

But as "family" are likely to need somewhere to live, it'll be quite likely to be put towards the purchase of a house..........

.......which is more expensive than it need be, for precisely the reasons that your house as an investment, performed well..........

It's a merry-go-round.

One way to look at it

I am sorry you lack the ability to concentrate long enough to follow the reason tuition fees were being discussed.
The reason they were being discussed is that I was adding them to the long list of things that the younger generation now pay out for that today's older generation did not. Perhaps if they did not sign up for Micky Mouse degrees in the first place they wouldn't have a loan to pay for.

Were the figures in the 90's including London?

Why do you want to compare figures?

To suit your argument? Not to look at the details?

Don’t use logic, Notch has his own reality

It's good to see that 3 or 4 people don't see things have got worse and swear blind it isn't.

Why is it that those 3 or 4 don't surprise me as to who they are.

Cloud cuckoo land

It's called trolling. No more, no less...
Is that a gut feeling?

I’ve backed up what I’ve said.

Previously we’ve established you can’t run a business, so best you stick to making “funny” comments.

I agree that things are much worse for the youngsters today and I have said why that is
No no it is much harder now for the young these days because they have to pay for.
