What are you having for breakfast?

lol, yeah, I did notice that my breakfast was looking a bit funny.

Back to the weekday boiled version today.

Eggs are great. I love them, and a quick breakfast or lunch is so easy.

yep, I have 2 eggs most days. Also trying (and succeeding) to lose weight, so having breakfast at midday, then no more food til dinner.

Down almost 6kg now (almost a stone). Another 12kg to lose!

I worked with a guy who went on an egg & grapefruit diet, the pounds just fell off him

Kippers again. But not any old kippers - Sainsbury’s' Taste the difference' hand prepared kippers! With a couple of slices of my own freshly baked bread. Gotta have pepper and what I call 'proper vinegar' on them.

You rarely find 'proper vinegar' (non-brewed condiment) in supermarkets or outside London. Chip shops or greengrocers sell it. Mrs Mottie won’t touch it - she calls it ‘East End brown acid stuff' which, technically I suppose, it is. In fact, whenever we talk about vinegar, our wedding which was in her home town of Wickford, crops up. Her sister ****ed up the two giant bowls of jellied eels we had delivered on the day by only buying malt vinegar. Malt vinegar! Our London guests have never forgiven or forgotten.......
