A nice pair of kippers this morning. Already got it in the ear from the wife for stinking the house out and I’ll be paying for them all day when they keep repeating repeating on me but worth it.

We are having a fry up every Sunday during the lockdown. It was my turn to cook it today, I couldn’t get hash browns or black pudding today though so did chips and I forgot the mushrooms.

If I have anything besides two gallons of tea, it'll be Granola with natural yoghurt.

Been getting mine from farm gate stall when out on my bike, pocket in my hi vis jacket is just big enough for a half dozen, plenty in local supermarket too

I often wonder about that. I mean, the hens don’t know about Corvid and are still laying the same number of eggs as they were before all this and added to the fact that cafés and restaurants are closed, there should be MORE eggs on the shelves in the shops, not less! A local café gave my daughter 2 dozen eggs just before they closed up as they were only going to waste.

Yeah, probably hens dying in cages all over the country.

Unless British Bake Off has caused the problem. Flour and sugar always sold out too, maybe everybody is baking cakes.
One local shop had loads of eggs in recently actually, but I am trying to limit my shopping trips

My wife has a friend with a glut of freshly laid eggs. She leaves them for us in her post box and we leave her an envelope with some coins in it along with the empty egg boxes. Small eggs but tasty and vivid yellow yolks.

Same here..wife twists about the smell.I do boil in a bag ..still smell..V v salty tho and yes,they repeat on me all day.

Thread resurrection warning. Another fish favourite this morning. Grilled smoked mackerel. White pepper and proper non brewed condiment, home baked bread and butter (bread baked fresh this morning). Mackerel can sometimes repeat on me so after the breakfast, I took the antidote - a nice slice of bread and jam!

And repeat. Now, a quick cuppa and off over the allotment before the Septuagenarians so that I can get a parking place.
