Seems you are telling porkies

Ireland has a comprehensive, government-funded, public health system. As such, the overall standards of healthcare system in Ireland are very high. At present, the national medical system is covered by the 2004 Health Act. This legislation established a new body, the Irish Health Service Executive, to be responsible for providing medical and social services. Today, nearly 40% of the population receives medical care at absolutely no cost. The remainder receives heavily subsidized services through the public system or they choose to opt for private insurance coverage
You are obviously using statistics provided by the Irish government.
They are about as reliable are their GDP figures.

Outpatient and A&E charges
Charges for people attending hospital emergency departments (€100) and Minor Injury Units (€75)
would not be changed by the proposed legislation.

So Notch's comment that they were all scrapped is incorrect.

The so called public health system is almost 3rd world.
Preferential treatment to those who pay is mandatory.

So it's a locally determined charge.
Not a blanket charge and not a universal charge.
Morover there are clearly protections to prevent such charges causing homelessness.

Vinty was not telling porkies.. It's appropriate to apologise when you wrongly accuse someone of lying.

That was my point..

I don't care about your swivelling and swerving to argue irrelevant details

I didn't accuse Vinty of lying. It's disingenuine of you to suggest I did.
I'm not siwveling and swervng, I'm accusing you of presenting information in such a way that it appears to support your misinterpreted opinion.
The fire sevice charges are locally determined charges. They're not universal, they're not a blanket imposition and they're not peculiar to Ireland.

The hospital charges have so many exemptions and waivers that I'm not sure it's worth maintaining an admin system to process them.
In addition there's no evidence to support the claim that these charges cause homelessnes.

please provide an alternative source

statistica says over 30% citizens have a medical card
under 16s dont pay
if you are referred by GP you dont pay

so a figure of 40% is around the right ballpark

so you are being dishonest

you are still being incorrect like Vinty

statistica says over 30% citizens have a medical card -and dont pay
under 16s dont pay
if you are referred by GP you dont pay

so a figure of 40% is around the right ballpark who dont pay

Interesting how Vinty tried to dishonestly imply everybody pays -they dont only those who are better off

It would be easier and more accurate to say that it is possible to incur charges, IF you don't qualify for free.

Not to mention, as witnessed the other week the bubbling undercurrent in the numbers of new arrivals to the city of Dublin in unprecedented numbers to causing social tensions.
What caused that then, is it globalists or agent 30 or was it aliens sucking up refugees and transferring to Dublin by the mothership
