Is murder justified? (Off topic posts moved from other threads)

If you understand their driver, of course it does.

It won't stop everyone. I've not known any system that will do that though.

Do you want people queuing up to become a martyr?

I prefer a system and lifestyle where we are civilised and don't sink to levels of others.

In the heat of the moment I can understand wanting instant justice, killing etc. But I like our system (with all of its faults) and much prefer criminals locked up. I want more prisons and more prison spaces, but that costs money too. We struggle with that bit.
Prisons are holiday camps and a great platform for extremists.
If we have to keep these beasts locked up, we need to treat them as beasts, not be kind to them.
After all, they wish to impose their culture on us, so let's give them a prison system identical to that of their motherland.
Ever watched "banged up abroad"?

Do you want to live in a civilised society? I do

Sometimes it means taking choices that don't always agree with the instant emotions.

How many martyrs have been spawned by the death in 'action' of these public killers?
I don't know, do you?

You seem to think I am arguing for them, not against them. I have no problem with police taking legally authorised action at the time of any event. But after that, it is down to our court and legal system.

The other choice is to allow police to kill who they want, when they want, how they want. I can't support that.

Then it not necessary murder
Correct.

But incorrect once the suspect has been subdued and restrained and is no longer a direct threat. In those circumstances, which are not legally authorised then it's (in usa certainly) murder. As the court and jury decided

These animals have decided not to obey the rules of a civilised society, therefore they need to be isolated from society and rot in prison.
Prisons should not be holiday camps and should not be a platform for extremists to spread their views.
Prisons should be a place where nobody wants to go, ever.
They should be hell on earth where these animals should not be pampered, but made to regret what they've done every second of their life.
I'm talking about the violent killers, not the thief who stole a candy bar.

You're talking about a justice system built for revenge.

I hope your concerns do not spread to fraud charges, especially PO fraud charges. ;)
