Lawyer jumps ship

Imagine you are an armed police officer with not 1, not 2, or 3 but 4 weapons that you can inflict injuries on me with. (baton, pepper spray, taser and side arm). You have at least 2 other colleagues. I'm a bit handy and have no problem punching women in the face braking one's nose and knocking the other too the ground.

How the hell do you know I am not going to grab your gun and start shooting? I'm stupid enough to attack you when I am seriously out gunned.

Why is that relevant? Do you mean that he maybe didn't realise the attacker in blue had been tasered because it was all so chaotic?
how can he taser him again, when its not him holding the taser?

I don't know which post you are replying to.

Are you saying that when he was motionless on the ground, after being tasered, that the officers should have drawn their firearms.

I'd encourage you to watch the video in slow motion. The officer doing the stomping had been punched in the face and head at least 12 times and he'd already fired his taser at the other guy

I know about the punching. It's not clear whether he'd fired his taser at the other guy; the other guy seems to put his hands up to surrender when threatened with the taser.

But what's your point?

You're right, it's not clear. The guy does go from Mike Tyson mode to surrender remarkably quickly however.
He had a taser in his hand.
It's a single shot weapon. The only person who can deliver another zap is the officer whose taser is still attached to the person. I suspect there may be something in the training about not hitting the person with simultaneous 50k volts, I can ask easily enough.

I agree. It looks to me like his mother is trying to stop him punching the police officer. Then he accidentally knocks her over. And that seems to be the catalyst for him deciding to stop.

I've actually just been reading that the latest version, issued since 2020, is a two shot version. Called Taser 7. This is far more than I ever wanted to know!!

Not to mention that allegedly it was his 3rd or 4th fight of the day.

She did rather well not to get injured.

Taser 7 has a much large nose.

I'm not condoning the stamp or the kick, but anyone stupid enough to try to punch out armed police officers is very lucky to still be alive.
