How are they forced by us?

Would you also agree that a burglar is forced to rob houses to feed his desire to buy illegal drugs?
People with genuine asylum claims from say Afghanistan, Syria can’t get here by legal means

If they have links to the UK, there is still a process, if they don't safety is much closer. To say we are forcing them, is like saying I had to break a window to get in the shop because the door was locked.

But this is an argument we've had before, you'll say there are no safe legal routes, I'll show you that there are and list how many people have been protected and we will have 10 pages of argument over the number with mr  getting all excited again.

It's a red rag to an angry public and it works everytime.

Look! they are taking that shoelace from you - fight them for it now.

The public have been so beaten down they just want to punch down to those in even worse predicament than themselves.

Watch the dogs on here say - well how many have you taken in? Well dogs if you are so upset by the crime why don't you walk the streets as a vigilante, so upset you can't get a doctors appointment- google how to treat yourself - oops you need medication - well make it yourself - your Brexit freedoms innit.

My French is better spoken than read..

But this is the key paragraph. p40 / 41

The summary is - they have 8 people dedicated and we have 7 and they aren't getting enough good quality information about the state of the migrants, the serial numbers of the boats and the collaboration is therefore unbalanced in the exchange of information. i.e. they tell us more than we tell them.
So the point they made was correct.

But let's blame them anyway

I have no trouble getting a doctors appointment or medication and when I sort things out myself, I get called a scaffold wielding thug by the resident unwanted emigrant. Can’t win really.

It was a comment of fact

Thats not blame, thats simply a comment that operationally they are more likely to have better intel on criminal activity in France.

You do note that the claims of "poor collaboration" are disputed?

So it's disputed that we aren't sharing ANY intel.
The French won't have any intel on boats they have not detected.

It's not just the boats, it's the engines, the fuel, etc.
Any information supplied by the asylum seekers.

When you read it, it does seem true that the reports are quite old.
You're being very selective on the words you've chosen to translate.
Allow me to translate the whole of that sentence:
Concernant les conditions d’arrivées des migrants, les références ou numéros de série des bateaux et des moteurs, les nationalités, les informations semblent très parcellaires.
Concerning the conditions of arrival of migrants, the references or serial numbers of boats and engines, nationalities, the information seems very fragmentary. The relationship between France and the United Kingdom is therefore unbalanced in terms of exchanges of information and intelligence.
I trust even you will admit to omitting some important parts of the sentence:
the condition of arrival of migrants, the serial numbers of engines, the nationalities of the migrants, etc.

All good intel for the French not forwared, maybe not collected, by the British. If the intel is not collected, that would indicate the real effort being put into the British attempts to stop the boats.

If you block up the doors, you force people to use the windows.
The asylum seekers are not coming to steal, nor are they drug users.
It's a human right to seek asylum.

The numbers are minute compared to the asylum seekers received by others.
Additionally UK did not evacuate most of those eligible for asylum.
So those not evacuated are forced to seek other routes to seek asylum.

Why didn't you call the police?
Low expectations?
