Wales becomes Trumpton

Anyone on this thread had a drive around Wales yet? Thought not. The country has not ground to a halt. Not all restricted roads are 20mph- whatever Motorbiking says, they're not. It's a nothingburger.
My brother and wife live there, and say its hardly changed anything for them. And the speeders are still speeding.

Really does seem to have upset MB. I can only assume he never drives in London. Heavily enforced by cameras there. But at 20 the traffic seems to move better than it used to at 30

It’s what the law says. If they are not 20mph they aren’t restricted roads.

Why are 450,000 people living in wales getting upset about a nothing burger. Why has the wienerdog’s twitter exploded?

Why did ITV wales poll reveal that just 33 percent of people support the policy, versus 61 percent opposed to it?

Why did wales online’s own poll show 90% against?

These stupid policies have a habit of spreading and there is zero benefit. It needs to be called out.
Seems to be a lot of people in here hardly affected by it, other than you

I used to commute in London by motorbike. It’s not speed that’s the issue. It’s unregistered, uninsured, unlicensed drivers. Traffic tended to flow pretty well and people were courteous. It’s what you find when people have to cooperate to get to work.

So how do you know they are uninsured and unlicensed - how did you determinee that whilst riding your motorbike?

Wait on you want people to cooperate? So cooperation is a mutual benefit? So shouldn't countries cooperate then? Oh but you voted for Brexit so I suppose I should expect this level of hypocrisy.

That's all invented rubbish , and

68% of statistics are made up on the spot.

If you read it, it cites many cities with similar results. Are you suggesting people in wales are less able to drive safely?

There is a reason that 20 zones were subject to the guidelines “must be self enforcing” when they were first introduced.
See the difference?
The 20 mph speed limit intervention was implemented in Belfast, UK in February 2016. In total, 76 streets in the city centre were assigned a speed limit of 20 mph
from your link

The 20 mph speed limit applies to 76 streets in Belfast City Centre. The area covered is the main pedestrian zone, Cathedral Quarter and the roads at the front and back of the City Hall.

That's a different London to the one I've driven in, over about 60 years, on and off.
The bikers (and the motorbikers) coming down between the lines of stationary traffic at probably over 30mph are the real danger.

Are you deliberately talking boll@x? Does this actually say what you want it to say?
From your own link

Small reductions in road traffic collisions were observed at year 1 (3%; p=0.82) and year 3 post-implementation (15%; p=0.31) at the intervention site
