Do you have to count changes then, to know which "gear" you're in (with your auto)?

Does it "happily trundle along" at 20mph in "5th", or would the software change to a more appropriate gear?

It depends what mode you leave it in. If you choose the wrong gear in "comfort" mode it overrides you. In sport or sport+ mode I think it's more likely to leave you to it. It shows the gear you are in on the dash. I tend to only use the paddles to stop it kicking down when I overtake or go up a hill. I'm not someone who drives particularly fast. Mostly happy at 65-70 on a motorway.

I could use the limiter to hold it at 20mph but suspect it would want to stay in 3rd or 4th in comfort or eco and maybe 2nd, 3rd in sport. I find unnecessary 20 zones frustrating though. It's like a pit lane on a track day. If I lived in Wales under Drakefords new limits, I'd probably leave. The irony is on a bicycle - I will normally ride at +20mph and bicycles are not subject to speed limits.

Had a lazy drive into Abersoch today so's missus Lard could stock up on a few supplies & I can't say I noticed any difference.

Even took house dog for a run on Quarry beach now that the tourists have mostly gone home, & I bet nobody can get onto that beach much faster than 15mph.

Have you read the articles that you posted? I think not.

I remind you of your earlier claim:

Neither of your presented articles support your perverted claim.
The Martin Lewis pretence of a poll was conducted on twitter among all motorists. Additionally the question asked was "should it be extended to all areas in UK?"
That has bu99er all to do with supporting or opposing the Welsh decision. And it has bu99er all to do with Welsh voters.
In addition the overwhleming vast majority of respondents were motorists. And non-motorists supported the move. The world isn't dominated by motorists, and in accidents involving pedestrians, it's those pedestrians who are inevitably more injured or killed.

Your presented aricle from the genuine Welsh media merely reports on the petition, the damaging of the signs and the Tory party's opposition to the new speed limit. It makes no mention at all about support nor opposition to the new speed limit.


You really are falling apart these days motorbiking. On many occasions now you've made claims that are proven to be factually untrue.
I suggest you take a long hard look at your own willingness to be honest and genuine about your claims and assertions.
