After 838 days, the situation as it stands...

  • The United Nations annual Children in Armed conflict report said the Russian army and its “affiliated armed groups” had killed 80 children in Ukraine in 2023 and injured 339. The report, due to be published on Thursday but seen by multiple news agencies, said violence against children in armed conflict reached “extreme levels” in 2023.
A long way to go to catch up with the Zionists but the West knows who the bad guys are, right?

Pres. Zelensky's Chief of Staff stands accused of embezzling millions of dollars, and neglecting Ukraine defences on the Eastern front, accusations he strongly denies. Obviously. Someone has to carry the can for the cock up, and its hard to see how one fresh Patriot can make the difference as Russia continues to rain missiles on Kharkiv. The TASS agency claims Russian forces have seized two more Ukrainian villages: Myasozharivka in the Luhansk region and Tymkivka in the northeastern Kharkiv region.

Ukraine is riddled with corruption at all levels.
Patriotic Ukranians are sacrificing their lives for a regime full of scammers.
Bribery is rife, recruiting officers have been charged with declaring new conscipts unfit for service in return for cash.
My daughter tells me that a lot of Ukranian woman in the town in Staffordshire where she lives have their husbands with them.
Its the same in Ireland, loads of Ukranian families complete with mum and dad.

Have seen ukrane women and children but no men.
They're either at the front or trying to avoid active service - lowering the conscription policy isn't popular and many are trying to leave the country. They like the idea of independence, but aren't prepared to fight for it.

Which this feeds into the narrative that we shouldn't be supporting them or their country. Its about the threat from Russsia to Europe.

I mentioned that Russia were taking steps to limit civilian deaths but it went down like lead balloon when they were. Their use of nightime bombing is just one example. Israel's is more than subtly different.
Biden has said UN member no - too corrupt*. I think the EU also has it's concerns but fact is perhaps some of the newer members should have been vetted more carefully or changed in some way. Ex Soviet issues in politics.

*Who knows what he really thinks though. Always tricky when geopolitics is concerned.

I mentioned that Russia were taking steps to limit civilian deaths but it went down like lead balloon when they were. Their use of nightime bombing is just one example. Israel's is more than subtly different.

The IDF have dropped roughly 16 million warning leaflets, made hundreds of thousands of mobile phone calls, hundreds of thousands of sms messages and when intending to destroy a building 'tap on the roof' by sending a small rocket prior to the destructive one.

Can you give me one single example where the Russians have done this, in fact, can you give me one single example of any military in the world to do this.

The Ukranian troops are dressed as soldiers, not hiding amongst the women and children in schools and playgrounds like the cowardly Hamas scum, that may account for a lower civilian death rate than Gaza, that plus a few million Ukranians have been evacuated.

For all that, the IDF have achieved a lower civilian death rate than the Iraq war, the Kosovo war and the Syrian civil war.

You have proof of that?

Yes.

Worst scenario is a 66% civilian death ratio in Gaza, Iraq war was 77%, and that's based on Hamas figures who we know are lying scum.

Newer figures suggest the civilian death could be as little as 50%, that's almost unprecedented.

Filly is using made up numbers with no basis, yet again.

As for the UN

The commission was equally damning about Israel’s conduct in the war, accusing it of using disproportionate force that amounted to a direct attack on civilians, resulting in a casualty rate “unparalleled across conflicts in recent decades”.

The commission found Israeli authorities “responsible for the war crimes of starvation as a method of warfare, murder or wilful killing, intentionally directing attacks against civilians and civilian objects, forcible transfer, sexual violence, torture and inhuman or cruel treatment, arbitrary detention and outrages upon personal dignity”.
