What are you drinking tonight?

Last night I had a Leffe ruby.

It's been on the shelf for about 3 years.

It tasted a bit weird, can't decide if it's gone off or just not very nice.

Couple of bottles of home brew stout, was just perfect for washing down my blackberry pudding.

thats just showing off
for a DIY forum, home made beer and home made puddings should be par for the course

actually it called DIYnot - may be it isn't a DIY forum? so whats the forum for ? not doing it yourself - very confused now.

Not a fan of wheat beers.
they do vary, generally I don't care for them but done a "Preachers Hefe Wheat" home brew - absolutely lovely, a sort of wonderfully smooth larger feel to it.

I got 24 small cans of san miguel (330ml) for £15 in morrisons yesterday.
Turned out at the till that they displayed the wrong price but they honoured it.
Now opening the third can.
Result!
San Miguel sold in the UK is all brewed under licence by Bulmers. I used to buy the big brown 1 litre bottles of Spanish made San Mig up till about 15 years ago when they disappeared. The Bulmers Ersatz version is boggin. My local offy occasionally gets in tins of the Spanish made stuff but it's rarer and rarer.

Perhaps you could try the original San Miguel, which comes from the Philippines, viz San Miguel isn't Spanish in origin.
