Widespread rioting

And what are we doing to show we prioritise British public giving them basic facilities such as NHS dentists and doctors etc. No it's that bad. I honestly believe if our facilities weren't so overrun and understaffed this situation may not be percieved as it is.

What do you suggest to fix these problems? Is it simply a matter of more money? Or a change in the model of provision? Or less screaming woke nonsense?

I'd love to see their Just Eat ordering history for the last year ;)
I can just imagine a chat between two rioters:

Dean: “Hey Gary, these f****g foreigners are wrecking our country”
Gary: “yes mate couldn’t agree more, they come here taking our houses and using our NHS”
Dean: “yeah too right. What ya doing Friday, fancy a Chinese”?
Gary: “nah, we did that last time, let’s try that new Bangladeshi curry house in town”

it is what happens when people feel disenfranchised
almost 70% of the last 45 years has been Conservative govt in power
And in that time we’ve seen a massive increase in inequality and massive cuts to public services.

And guess what the Conservatives blamed it on the EU….so we left and when that didn’t work the Conservatives started blaming foreigners.

Hey Munroast, you think people are disenfranchised….who has been in govt for last 14 years huh

Stop the fking boats. I find it beyond fcked up a single person is entering our shores illegally.
Anyone seen to be jumping a queue when there are people literally crying out for help already here, it will always create frustration.
Try it at your local post office, jump the queue see what happens, its not because of your skin colour, it's because you're jumping the queue!
Significantly halt immigration until we have facilities per person restored, despite many people crying its nothing to do with the population explosion it really is, it's a strange Ostrich mentality in this country some people feel to ashamed to have awkward conversations, it is ok, when it is in the interest of the UK population it's not about hate or racism.
The NHS is rotten to the core in how it runs, i don't know the answer to that one, Farage i have to say is right throwing more money at it isn't the answer.
Starmer could change the policy on Dentists tomorrow, no more private licenses until you've completed 5+years NHS, who wants to earn £36k as an NHS Dentist when you can flip to private instantly. Make it compulsory ffs! No instead he's focused now on stop the Right wing extremists not the boats again!

But the current problem is the right wing extremists, taking time energy and resources away from the issues that need fixing.

Stop the boats. Great . Another 3 word slogan. How? Exactly? It's a long term problem that the Tories did nothing with and Labour need time. Yes they might not stop them, but give them some time to see what they can and do, do.

It doesn't half, Tommy is in his 400 quid a night hotel room in Cyprus pumping out anti Muslim rants on Tik Tok to his white working class followers who are busy destroying white working areas.
Elon Musk appears to be a big fan, since he allowed him back on the website and even posted "civil war is inevitable" in response to him.

So until there is a system proposed, it shouldn't be dismissed out of hand
Be hard to convince me that the areas I mentioned could be solved without yet more complications.

Areas figure in another way. An impression I get - rural areas tend to vote conservative. You could say this is a problem but really it's a sign people get what they want.

'Stopping the boats' is nonsense. That it has become a rallying cry for the racist far right is a depressing example of how thick they are.

it is what happens when people feel disenfranchised,
4.1m people vote for reform and got 5 MP's
9.6m voted for labour and got 411 MP's
Some country eh!, voting Reform gets 1/35th the representation of a looney left labour voter, how is that fair or just?

No wonder people are rioting

and for what its worth, I didn't vote reform and condem the riots, but I can see why its happening
I can see how diappointed more than 48% of the voters were to have no representation in Brexit.

I’m watching BBC London news at the moment. They are talking about the 12,000 homeless people in the capital alone. If the government can find bed, board and healthcare for people from other countries who come over here on a dinghy, why can’t they find the same for our homeless? I don’t agree with the rioting and attacks on police but come on, you can understand a certain amount of frustration.

We choose not to. We did it during COVID but then dropped the funding, maybe labour will change that.

You’ll always get a certain losing percentage in any referendum. Those that don’t get what they voted for usually accept the decision and just get on with things. They don’t boo hoo and stage demonstrations, try to stall the process, go to court, whinge, whinge fùcking whinge for 8 years after. Unless ….

I just heard that. After clicks maybe. Tomy keeps spouting. He is less careful than Farage who now enjoys a sort of MP's freedom of speech. ;) An area I have never fully understood.I do recollect a judge when asked to get involved refusing. It seemed to be an I don't want to get involved in politics in any fashion at all.
