Zion and the Art of Armageddon

I was contemplating the fact the supporters of Israel's genocide like to brand all Palestinian victims as "Hamas."

With equal justice, one might describe all Israelis and their supporters as "Likhud"

It may be useful to recall that it was founded by a terrorist leader responsible for many atrocities, including the murder of British peacekeepers.

What’s labours view on this genocide in Isreal

As some one ounce said ?

Bad things happen when good people remain silent

Starmers a decent bloke ? Why does he not call it out ??

In more horrific news an Israeli air strike on a group of refugee tents in Rafa has killed at least 27. Many of the bodies are burnt beyond recognition but at least one decapitated baby, presumably by shrapnel from the bombs, is captured in footage.
35 now and as usual Israel is investigating. It seems the strikes, note the s were on tents close to a UN building within a safe area. Video shows an area of devastation but hard to say how big. Rafar - the way it was presented not sure. Communications hits as well may explain that.

He's stuck with international pressure for a 2 state solution. He came out with that immediately. Geopolitics probably figure past that. One of their advisor types indicated that the ceasefire aspect will crop up. He said actually already has but pundits etc so ????? If so there would be plenty of info in the news. LOL Oh there is

Labour’s amendment calling for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza has been approved in the House of Commons amid chaotic scenes.
SNP MPs and some Conservatives walked out of the chamber in protest at Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle’s handling of the Gaza ceasefire debate.
Commons Leader Penny Mordaunt claimed Sir Lindsay had “hijacked” the debate and “undermined the confidence” of the House in its long-standing rules by selecting Labour’s bid to amend the SNP motion calling for an “immediate ceasefire” in the Israel-Hamas war.

Words. Why a problem adding the humanitarian? Oh lets through our toys out of the pram, The word is exactly what the ceasefire is about, not a solution.

If/when Starmer becomes PM and the ICC issue arrest warrants for Netanyahu and his crew that'll bring him down off the fence sharpish.

I don’t need some long winded cut and paste post
Let’s cut to the chase

Has starmer the next PM (?) called it out as genocide ? Or not ?

No. That aspect is under investigation by a certain body. Not down to him or any other sensible politician. Like it or not it's not genocide until the case is proven in law. He can comment on high death rates etc as many have.

A tragic mistake, despite having assassinated all the journalists, to leave a few people alive so the story got out.

"Israel’s partners are frustrated by Netanyahu’s resistance to allow more aid into devastated Gaza, and determination to press on with the offensive in Rafah — where more than 1mn people had sought sanctuary. They are angered, too, by his refusal to produce a viable post-conflict plan for the strip; his failure to rein in rampaging Jewish settlers in the occupied West Bank; and Israel’s rejection of the Biden administration’s plans to take steps towards a two-state solution. That is the only path to providing Israel with the long-term security it requires."

There has been more press coverage on this war than most, there has been more UN interest than there has been in most conflicts, even those with a higher civilian death ratio, Isis and Al Qaida didn't have international support whereas Hamas are seen as heroes for their slaughter of jews and are openly celebrated on the streets of London.

The claims about civilian deaths ratios are *******s, the IDF claims on casualties aren't reliable.

Seems like the Egyptians had a gun battle with the IDF ?? One Egyptian soldier killed ?
