And fortunately dues to the usual Russian quality control the other missile just fell off the fighters wing

What I've seen of transam's posts, he's not worried about all out war, he'd welcome it with open arms.

My definition of win in the Ukranian conflict is that all of the Russian occupied parts of the Ukraine are restored to the Ukraine

Ukraine has pulled off some pretty complex and impressive operations recently.

Special forces raided some gas platforms that were being used to host high end air radar systems.

They then used that gap to get small drones to hit an S400 radar in Crimea, then used the footage from that strike to call in Neptune cruise missiles to take out the rest of the launchers and also strike two docked ships destroying them. The exact timelines and process is probably slightly out, but they've doing impressive work.

All the articles I've read were unable to determine why the second missile failed to launch.

For all the recent (probably deserved) stick the Russians are getting, they do have a history of excellence in some engineering fields.

I'm not defending them (impossible these days anyway!) but I do feel there is some unjustified criticism of their science and tech at the moment.

They do have a great history in engineering and technology, which is what has fueled their continued success in certain areas. They still continue to have a good name in aerospace (I only know through having family working at Rolls Royce) and Roscosmos (space programme) really is impressive.

Historically speaking they were fantastic makers of photographic equipment, bincolculars, etc. Unsure if they are stiill.

Quality control falls apart with there mass production

And this Ukranian caper has shown how bad there logistics are

Pretty dire imo for a supposed world military power

The yanks are the masters of invasions problem is they are not to good after said invasion

Had the yanks invaded Ukraine they would have they would have total command of the air space

He has no option but to cling onto power by what ever means neccessary
